Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We are in-network with many major insurance providers and will file claims on your behalf. If we are out-of-network with your plan, we may still be able to submit claims for you, depending on your benefits.

How much does therapy cost with insurance?

The cost of therapy depends on your specific insurance or EAP benefits. Our standard rates are:

  • $160 for the initial assessment
  • $140 for follow-up sessions

When we file with your insurance, you may pay a portion of this cost (or sometimes none at all) depending on your plan.

Because insurance coverage can vary, we recommend contacting your provider directly to understand your benefits before your first session.


Do you accept EAP (Employee Assistance Program) benefits?

Yes. We work with many EAP programs to help make therapy more accessible.

If you have EAP benefits through your employer, check with your provider to confirm coverage and eligibility.

What if I don’t have insurance?

We believe therapy should still be accessible.

For clients without insurance or with high-deductible plans, we offer:

  • Sliding scale rates for those who qualify
  • Discounted sessions through the Open Path Collective (select providers)
  • Workshops, groups, and low-cost community offerings

If you have questions about options, we’re happy to help you find a path that works for you.


Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?

At this time, we are not a provider for Medicare or Medicaid and are unable to file claims with these programs.


Can I switch between in-person and virtual therapy?

Yes. We offer both in-person therapy in North Carolina and virtual therapy in NC, SC, and MI.

You’re welcome to switch between formats as needed, as long as your provider is licensed in the state where you are located during your session.


Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Yes. Many of our clinicians offer evening and weekend sessions.

These times are in high demand and tend to fill quickly, so you may not always see them available right away in the scheduling system.
